Juglans regia 'Broadview'

Walnut Broadview
Enhanced walnut, large fruit and self-pollinating.
Originates from British Columbia (Canada). Good hardy. Moderate vigour. The male flowers bloom befor the female. Nevertheless, Broadview can also produce (apomictic) fruits without pollination. Good production of fairly large elongated nuts with good taste. Not susceptible to diseases.
Broadview is certainly one of the better varieties, which is also suitable for smaller locations due to its moderate vigour.
